Highlights and What to Expect. Boat Trip to Vlore, Sazan and Karaburun Day Tour

This is a signature experience of the Albanian Riviera, typically lasting 4 to 6 hours. Fast boats offer a significant advantage by reducing travel time—reaching Sazan in approximately 30–40 minutes—leaving more time for swimming and exploration

  • Sazan Island: The Ghost Island Formerly a top-secret military installation, Sazan is Albania’s largest island and was only opened to the public in 2015
  • Haxhi Ali Cave: The Pirate’s Grotto This is the largest sea cave in Albania, with a massive entrance rising 30–60 meters high, allowing speedboats to sail directly inside.
  • Karaburun Peninsula: Hidden Bays The uninhabited peninsula is part of a protected National Marine Park, featuring rugged cliffs and secluded coves accessible only by sea
  • St. Vasil (Shen Vasil) Beach A popular stop for long breaks (typically 2–3 hours), featuring wild pebble shores and local seaside restaurants serving fresh food.

What are these 3 activities we offer to you?

Sazan Island: The Ghost Island
Military Ruins: Explore the “ghost town” atmosphere with over 3,600 bunkers, abandoned apartment buildings, a cinema, and a school.
Hiking & Views: Short trails offer panoramic views where the Adriatic and Ionian seas meet.
Pristine Beaches: Most tours stop at the island’s main beach for a swim in untouched, crystal-clear turquoise waters

Haxhi Ali Cave: The Pirate’s Grotto
Legendary History: Named after the 17th-century pirate and folk hero Haxhi Ali, who used the cave as a strategic hideout and lookout.
Natural Acoustics: Experience the mystical glow of sunlight reflecting off the limestone walls and the emerald-green water.
Snorkeling: Depending on sea conditions and specific tour rules, you can often jump off the boat to swim and snorkel inside the cave’s deep, protected waters.
Karaburun Peninsula: Hidden Bays
St. Vasil (Shen Vasil) Beach
A popular stop for long breaks (typically 2–3 hours), featuring wild pebble shores and local seaside restaurants serving fresh food.
