Kruja is home to one of Albania’s most complex and interesting museums and the Amphitheatre in Durres surely can’t be missed due to its historical importance.
Kruja medieval town, located on the slope of Sari Salltik mountain. An old bazaar leads you up to the castle of the National Hero Skanderbeg. Visit in the castle of the city, housing the Skanderbeg Museum and the Ethnographic museum.
Durres, the most important seaport in Albania. Visit the Amphitheatre, the biggest in the Balkan Peninsula (capacity over 15. 000 spectators) with a rare wall mosaic from the 4-5 century AD, the Archaeological Museum! We make a walk in the city to enjoy the Justinian Walls, Venetian Tower and the Promenade.

Drive to Kruja through the town of Fushe Kruja – called George W. Bush Town (approx. 1 hour drive.)
Visit the Skanderbeg and the Ethnographic Museum as well as the Bektashi Teqe of the Fortress of Kruja (built in early 17th Century)
Free time to explore the Ottoman Bazaar of Kruja. Lunch in traditional restaurant in the Bazaar.
Drive to Durres (1 hour drive.)
Visit the downtown and the Roman Amphitheater of ancient Durrachium. The Archaeological Museum of Durres will be one of the highlights of this day-trip as it presents a really fine collection of objects related to the history of Durres.
Drive back to Tirana late afternoon. (1 hour drive).
