4 Days in Albania – Unesco sites tour from Tirana, the historic centers of Berat and Gjirokaster. Gjirokastër was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list in 2005 while Berat was added as a site extension in 2008. They are inscribed as rare examples of an architectural character typical of the Ottoman period.
Tirana

This tour has 2-3 hours driving every day. Some walking and climbings will be while visiting the castles.
Accommodation will be: 1 night in Berat, 1 Night in Gjirokaster, 1 night in Korce.
Depart from Tirana in the morning, visiting the city of Durres on the way, the beach area and arrive in Berat at midday. The tour in Berat will include the historic, centre composed of 3 neibourghoods: Gorica, Mangalemi and Kala. Berat old city is a Unesco heritage since 2008. Time for lunch will be in a traditional restaurants in the castle. After lunch we will have a walk in the castle to enjoy the magnificent views from the top of the castle. In the evening you will check in the hotel.
After Breakfast we will leave Berat and drive towards Gjirokaster, 180 km, about 3 hr. Upon arriving in Gjirokaster we will visit the Castle. Gjirokastër was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list in 2005.
After breakfast we will leave Gjirokaster towards Korce, 200 km, about 5 hr drive. This distance will be divided in two, visiting Permet, Vjosa river, the thermal water of Benja. Enjoy the gastronomy and the serenatess in Korca.
After breakfast will leave Korca towards Pogradec the city on the shores of the famous lake of Ohrid.
