We pick you up from the hotel. Leave Tirana at 06.00.
After 260 km drive aproximately 4 hours arrive in Saranda. During this time we will have a break of 30 min in a Autogrill near Fier.
Saranda takes its name from the Forty Saints Monastery a 6th century Byzantine monastery. It is thought that the Monastery was a major Byzantine pilgrimage site. We will visit the Lekuresi Castle where you will enjoy a fantastic view of the bay of Saranda. Located on the highest hill the castel offers e perfect place for photos.
Driving 20 min from Saranda, Ksamil will be our next destination! You will feel like you are exploring some tropical paradise when being on its white sandy beaches with the view of the four islands in-front of the beach. Ksamil is the pearl of the Albanian Riviera and it surely is one of the best beach destinations in Europe. Ksamil is primarily known for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The Albanian Riviera has many pretty beaches, however, this beach gives you that Bora – Bora feeling. You will have some time to dive in and enjoy the turquoise colour of the sea and soak up the atmosphere.
We will stay in Ksamil about 2 hours including time for lunch and swiming in the clear blue waters.
The Blue Eye Albania is a natural spring with a magical blue color. The spring has become a touristic attraction, because of its beauty. Located 35 km from Butrint driving time 1 hour.
It has fresh water surrounded by evergreen trees. The source comes from “Mali i Gjere” and reaches a depth that has not yet been discovered, so far divers have gone deep to 50 meters. The water temperature does not go above 10 degrees. The Blue Eye looks like it come straight out of fairy tale but you can actually visit it. You will not be able to keep your eyes off the mesmerizing crystal-clear blue water.
Around 17.00 Depart for Tirana. It takes 4 hours drive and 1 hour plus for the breaks on the road.
